Step Eight: Install the MySQL Database
Mysql is another amazing web workhorse that is available to to us all. It works amazingly, and can provide careers in and of itself, for database administrators, developers, analysts, etc.
If you do not have MySQL installed, find instructions for your version of Linux using a Google search, "ubuntu 9.05 install mysql" etc.
Take care to give your MySQL a good root password, and write it down someplace safe.
